Red Tents are spaces co-created for women to share, connect and authentically be. They are spaces for women to share their stories, rest and gain strength from being together and supporting one another. *When we say women we include those of both cisgender and transgender experience, non-binary trans femme, intersex and gender-expansive people.
A Cauldron of Inspiration,Wisdom and Love (North London)
The Cauldron of Inspiration, Wisdom and Love was created from an idea as I connected with Cerridwen, the Goddess of the Moon and Poetry. Cerridwen’s name is derived from the Celtic word “cerru,” meaning cauldron. And like the Goddess herself, the cauldron symbolises the power of wisdom, transformation, magic, rebirth and creative inspiration (Awen). During the New Moon phases these will be the focus as we sit in circle and remember our divine goddesses within. In going deeper we will share and tell our stories to release and honour the unwanted and bring in the new. Creativity and crafting with clay and paints, meditation and silence, sitting around the fire, eating and sharing, will activate your desires for the following month. Cerridwen is the crone/mother aspect of the goddess. Her sacred feast is on July 3rd which is called gwyl o ceridwen.
